You can cancel your Azure from Telstra service using our cancellation form.
Note: This form cannot be completed by anyone other than the authorised representative on the Telstra Account. Once the cancellation is submitted the Microsoft Azure environment will be unrecoverable by both Telstra and Microsoft.
Who can complete this process?
Only authorised representatives on the Telstra account can request cancellation. Telstra Partners or third party IT providers cannot do this on your behalf.
What do you need to complete this process?
- Understand any fixed term or early termination costs for your service
- There maybe services such as CloudHealth, CloudGuard or Telstra Cloud Gateway linked to your cloud service. Choose whether you want to cancel or update these services
- Your company details and Telstra account authorised representative
- Your Microsoft Azure subscription IDs (available at https://portal.azure.com/)
What are the steps to complete this process?
- Download the cancellation form at the bottom of this page
- Complete section 1 by filling in your details.
- In section 2, select Microsoft Azure
- In section 4 Please make sure you've completed the pre-requisites - i.e. terminate any resources on the services you're cancelling. Once terminated these resources are unrecoverable
- In section 4.2 nominate your Microsoft tenant ID and Microsoft domain
- Complete section 9 by reading the terms of cancellation and then:
- Tick the authorisation box
- Sign the form
- Type in your name and date
- Email the completed form to us at CloudServiceDeskFOH@team.telstra.com.
What happens after you submit the form?
1. You’ll receive an email confirming your cancellation
2. We’ll review your request, calculate Early Termination Charges and contact you if more information is necessary
3. There’s the option of scheduling a meeting to walk you through self-cancellation of any products. Let us know if you want to do this.
4. We’ll let you know once cancellations have been completed
