Click on the cloud name on the 'Cloud services' page.
This takes you to the details page for that cloud.
Select the Scheduling tab. On this page, there are three layers at which you can enable and disable scheduling.
- Enable or disable the entire scheduling function (for this cloud)
- Enable or disable a particular schedule
- Enable or disable a schedule for a specific target
Enable or disable scheduling on a cloud
On the Scheduling tab, simply toggle the button next to the title 'Power scheduling' (labelled Enabled or Disabled, depending on which state it's in), to enable or disable this feature.
You have to enable scheduling to begin adding schedules and schedule targets.
Note that disabling this feature when active schedules are in place will cause all resources to remain in the current state (i.e. powered resources remain on, powered-off ones in the off state) until the scheduling feature is enabled again.
Enable or disable a schedule
1. From the schedule menu dropdown list (three dots at the top right corner of the schedule), select Edit. This opens the 'Edit schedule' window.
2. Toggle the button below the 'Schedule name' field(Enabled or Disabled, depending on which state it's in).
3. Click on Save.
In this instance you're enabling or disabling an existing schedule and all the targets to which it's applied.
Note that disabling this schedule when active targets are in place will cause all resources to remain in the current state (i.e. powered resources remain on, powered-off ones in the off state) until the schedule is enabled again.
Enabling or disabling a target
1. From the target menu dropdown list (three dots at the right of the target), select Edit. This opens the 'Edit target' window.
2. Toggle the button(Enabled or Disabled, depending on which state it's in) below the 'Target name' field.
3. Click on Save.
In this instance you're only enabling or disabling a particular target to which a schedule's applied. The schedule will still apply to any other targets to which it's assigned.
Note that disabling will cause all resources to remain in the current state (i.e. powered resources remain on, powered-off ones in the off state) until the schedule target is enabled again.
