e.g. You can set the power on time to 9am and power off time to 5pm on a daily schedule (you can select the days of the week to which you want to apply this schedule).

There are many cron generators that could be found with a Google search. Any would work for the purpose of creating a cron expression for your schedule.
Q: What happens if I don’t select a target for a schedule?
The schedule will be unused because it’s not applied to any particular resources.
Q: Can I apply a schedule to multiple targets?
Yes. You can apply a schedule to a wide range of targets. You can target resources by location, resource groups and tags.
