On the 'Cloud services' page (home page), click on the name of a Cloud Connector you've already added.
Learn how to add a Cloud Connector
This takes you to the details page for that Cloud Connector. You'll arrive at the Connections tab of the page by default.
This is where you can:
- Establish a link between the Cloud Connector and your Telstra Next IP network; or
- Edit the already established Next IP link
- Delete the Next IP link
Establishing a link between Cloud Connector and your Next IP network
Note that the steps described below refer to the Connections tab on the details page for a Cloud Connector yet to be linked to your Next IP network.
1. Select the Link Next IP button.
2. Enter your Next IP network details.
- Link name – the name you've given the network link when you added it to Cloud Sight.
- Next IP network FNN (Full National Number) – this is a unique number Telstra assigns to networks and services to identify them.
3. Select Link.
Remember, to complete your configuration you must also link the cloud connector to:
- A Microsoft Azure cloud; or
- An AWS cloud
Editing your Next IP link
The steps below refer to the details page for a Cloud Connector already linked to a Next IP network.
1. Select Edit from the dropdown menu on your Next IP network tile ( three dots on tile on the left of your Cloud Connector)
2. Edit your Next IP network details.
- Link name – the name you've given the network link when you added it to Cloud Sight.
- Next IP network FNN (Full National Number) – this is a unique number Telstra assigns to networks and services to identify them.
3. Select Save.
Deleting your Next IP link
Note that deleting your Next IP link can only be done after you've already deleted any links between your clouds and the Cloud Connector.
Learn how to delete cloud links
1. Select Delete from the dropdown menu on your Next IP network tile ( three dots on tile on the left of your Cloud Connector).
The Delete option will only be available when there are no cloud links on the Cloud Connector.
2. Type the word 'Delete' in the text box.
3. Select Yes, delete.
