Telstra Cloud Sight is an online platform that allows you to order and add eligible cloud services to an ecosystem that includes governance, risk management and connectivity, helping you keep your clouds safe and compliant with international standards, their costs visible and in control.

Please note that AWS from Telstra is our standard service that adds your cloud to a shared AWS tenancy. Select customers may purchase AWS Direct from Telstra, which provides a dedicated AWS Master tenancy. Contact us to find out if you qualify for AWS Direct from Telstra.

Q: Are there any pre-requisities for signing up to the Telstra Cloud Sight platform?
There are no pre-requisites for signing up to the Telstra Cloud Sight platform.
Q: How much would it cost me to sign up?
Registration and use of Telstra Cloud Sight is free.
Cloud services and add-ons, however, will be billed as per the fees specified by each provider.

Q: I have an existing tenancy on a cloud service. How do I link it to Telstra Cloud Sight?
For AWS clouds you don't have to do anything. We'll link your tenancy when your cloud is being added.
If you're an existing Azure tenant, you'll be led through the process of linking your tenant the first time you try to add an existing Azure cloud.

Q: Can I group my clouds on the Telstra Cloud Sight platform?
Yes. Clouds are added, by default, to workspaces that allow you to group them.
Q: What's a workspace?
Workspaces are discrete spaces that hold one or more clouds or associated services. The composition of a workspace is entirely up to you. You can add as many cloud services to a workspace as you like.
Q: Does every cloud service have to belong to an workspace?
Yes. A cloud cannot reside outside an workspace. When you add a new cloud, you can choose a workspace for it. Please note that, at the moment, you cannot move clouds between workspaces so make sure you add it to the correct one.

Yes. You can edit the workspace through the Edit button on the workspace's Manage menu.
