Telstra Edge is an edge computing product which delivers localised cloud computing, enabling advanced edge computing use cases such as IoT analytics, video analytics and infrastructure consolidation, enabling improved data security, operational efficiency, and business insights.
Telstra Edge combines Telstra's award-winning connectivity, virtual networking and managed services with purpose-built edge computing devices from Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Q: How do I find out more about Telstra Edge?
Register an expression of interest via either our webpage here, or via Cloud Sight (via the Telstra Edge tile on the Marketplace) if you're an existing Telstra cloud customer.
A member of the Telstra cloud sales team will contact you to discuss your requirements and give you the information you need.

Q: How much does it cost?
Telstra Edge has two fee components:
- Set-up fee that includes:
- A fee for shipping the Telstra Edge device
- A fee for Telstra Purple Professional Services for solution design and install of the device
- A monthly subscription fee that includes
- A monthly fee for your Telstra Edge device (unless you pay for it up-front)
- Usage-related fees for resources and applications deployed to the device.
Given the unique nature of requirements, our sales team will create a professional services statement-of-work on a case-by-case basis.

Q: Is there a lock-in commitment?
There is no minimum term agreement unless that option is specifically ordered. Telstra Edge is offered as a hardware-as-a-service subscription.
Minimum term agreements are not available for all device types.
Q: If I'm an existing Telstra customer can I add Telstra Edge to my existing billing account?
Yes. Telstra Edge will appear on your bill under subscription charges for the relevant cloud service (Azure and/or AWS).
Q: I've received my Telstra Edge device. How do I set it up?
After you receive your Telstra Edge device, a Telstra engineer will visit your site to install and configure the device based on the agreed design.
The engineer will ensure the device is operating correctly, is connected to the management console/portal and ready for you to use.
Q: How do I use Telstra Edge?
Telstra Edge is managed and used similarly to how you use cloud services. You manage your Telstra Edge device, cloud resources, services, applications and virtual workloads that run on the device via the management con Portal.

Q: How do I cancel a Telstra Edge service?
Telstra Edge is a subscription (hardware-as-a-service) based product. Your Telstra Edge device subscription can be cancelled via the provider's management portal/console. You will need to return the device upon cancellation of subscription.
